  • What are wool pellets?
    • Wool Pellets are made out of sheep’s wool that is not suitable for making into yarn. Wool Pellets are a soil amendment providing aeration, water absorption and slow-release fertilizer. They are 100% natural and completely renewable.
  • How do I use wool pellets?
    • They can be mixed with soil for potted plants, they can be used as a mulch on top of the soil, they can be added to the rows with the seeds during planting, or they can be broadcast and worked into the soil.
  • How many wool pellets are required?
    • 1/2 cup of pellets per gallon of soil for use in pots
    • 2.2 lbs (1 kg) spread over 20-25 square feet of garden
  • How often do I need to apply wool pellets?
    • They break down in about 6 months.
